AVSynForma (AVSF) is an automated audiovisual composition system for Mac. AVSF analyzes a piece of music (its tempo, meter, formal structural, and timbral essence) and composites video and still images into a visual composition based on the musical evidence it discovered in its analysis. From a pool of source media (video, stills, performance footage), it generates multiple structurally valid realizations, with cuts, transitions, layers and motion tied to the music. The user can preview, compare and refine them, then render to HD or 4K. The music stays the temporal authority, and the composer’s rules decide what may change. AVSF is currently in private beta. Please visit www.avsynforma.com.
