I am excited to welcome Mark Menzies to Sacramento this week for his residency. Over the next few days Mark will be making ready for three solo and collaborative concerts presented over four days, two of which will include the complete solo Sonatas and Partitas by J. S. Bach. The last will include my tour-de-force, Farewell (grief cycles) from 2001/08, commissioned by Menzies.
